students and students often resist the kinds of grammar "drills" that are a part of many grammar lesson plans. This lesson is designed to give students the opportunity to
create their own lesson plans and instruct their classmates in a single lesson on a grammar topic. Students will be paired off and group will be provided with a
randomly selected grammar topic (extracted from their grammar texts). They will be asked to compose a lesson plan, develop an assessment and present the lesson to their classmates.
The Assignment: Each paired group of students will be given a different grammar "topic" based on one of the 10 chapters of your grammar textbook. Your
group will be responsible for reviewing the material, understanding the subject, developing a lesson plan, and presenting the lesson to the class. Both you and your students will be
assessed on basic knowledge of the grammar topic through an assessment tool created by you! Your Lesson: The key to this assignment is to be as
creative as possible. Find a new way to teach the students in your class. Discover a method that will inspire them to learn what you have to offer.
