does offer an entirely new concept in radio that is certain to make those listening to traditional radio wonder why they put up with all the inane banter of disc
jockeys, the constant commercials, and the repetition of other peoples favorite tunes. Not only is the concept fascinating but the technology that makes satellite radio possible is worth paying attention
to since it serves as a perfect example of innovative thinking that is outside of the (radio) box. Two companies -- XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio are
the two "big dogs" of the emergent industry and the competition between the two has involved a great measure of debate between financial and technological analysts, investors, and music companies.
They have been developing their capabilities for the past five years and there is no reason to believe that either will lessen its intense focus on establishing itself as the
