Born in the middle of the nineteenth century, on March 19, 1848, Wyatt Earp is one of the most remembered names in American history. Earp was not
just a famous gun-slinging lawman, he was an adventurer at heart. He took advantage of the many opportunities this time in history offered to quench his thirst for exploration,
action, and drama. In addition to his work as marshal in the most adventure-filled towns of the Wild West, Wichita, Dodge City, and Tombstone Kansas. Earp variously
worked as miner and a laborer on the railroad, saloon keeper, gambler, proprietor of a house of ill repute, teamster on the never-ending stream of wagon trains that were flooding
the west, stagecoach driver, a buffalo hunter and scout, a gold prospector, and even as an occasional boxing referee! All along the way Earp was adding to his reputation
and to the legends which have persisted to this day. Some of those legends are deadly accurate. Others are as much fabricated as they are tied to the
facts of this interesting time in history. Born to Nicholas and Virginia Earp in Monmouth Illinois, Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp, was the fourth
