in the economy; and workers who may have to, or want to, transition to new careers (Employment and Training Administration, 2007). As with most complex programs, the focus of
adult education can become mired within so much bureaucracy that the ultimate objective is often sidelined. Certain elements of the overall strategy are instrumental in maintaining a clear and
concise spotlight upon what is to transpire and how it will happen. Partnerships exist with a number of entities in order to forge an alliance between, for example, adult
education classes and postsecondary schooling to easily transfer credits from one institution to another in addition to employers and education providers so prospective employees are more adequately prepared by learning
