man who does the same job and women are still the primary caregivers of any home. The following paper first examines how women today have come a long way but
not enough, and how women have come quite a ways since the days of Virginia Woolf and Mary Wollstonecraft. The paper then discusses the film "The Core" and the reality
television show "Average Joe" as they relate to the topic at hand. Women Today Women have a great deal more power today
than they did many years ago. A woman can run a company and a woman can essentially have any job she wants. She can run for President of the United
States, and she can possess great power. However, on the other hand we see women still using nothing but their sexuality and their image to get attention. Women are used
in videos as though they were nothing more than frivolous trophies and these videos indicate that the women like this. This is further enhanced by the fact that these are
real women portraying such characters and this just encourages such perspectives. We see women in almost every single occupation one could imagine
and women are being targeted more and more for products that were normally associated with men. For example, car companies are beginning to realize that women make up at least
half of the new car purchases in the United States. They are beginning to realize that women have tremendous buying power and they are buying things other than clothes and
