generally use this type of machine to accomplish their work. It certainly shines when compared with the PC, and it also has a reputation for crashing a lot less. The
Detroit Free Press stated: "The new OS X for Mac runs circles around Windows XP" ("Apple," 2003). This publication is not the only one applauding the new system, which has
a unique look and has been very well received. MacIntosh in general is also very simple. When receiving an Imac or Ibook from Apple, there is a set of simple
instructions with about five steps. Step one is something like, take the computer out of the box. The rest of the steps are just as simple. Even a seven year
old can likely follow the instructions. The situation for a PC is not the same. The Mac is much more user friendly, and does not require any special cards, with
the exception of the Airport card, but that gives one wireless Internet, incidentally before PCs went wireless. In summary, Macs are easier to use and work better. Perhaps the greatest
difference between the MacIntosh and the Windows PC is in terms of software ("Why," 2003). While there is admittedly more software available for the PC, the Mac software is
decidedly more elegant, and it is better designed as well(2003). Mac software endures or prompts fewer crashes (2003). What is more, to fix the Mac, one only needs to restart
