a most ironic circumstance, in that the fundamental component of social work is to help others restore and maintain their own weakened sense of character. Indeed, ethics is the

appropriate choice. Scientists have long studied the reasons why people behave the way they do, noting that a combination of genetic and environmental influences mark the two most significant aspects
of personal development. As such, the social, political, economical and religious activities experienced in everyday life represent the very essence of what it means to be a human being.
These representations illustrate how and why a person acts the way he or she does; how people attribute their moods, feelings and emotions; the way in which they interact
