an education that they will not use. Of course, that is only a part of the picture. Women can create careers at home and they can also work prior to
the childrearing years and a great deal of years afterwards. Still, why do the women stay home when they can earn six figure salaries by putting Johnny and Janie into
daycare? They know the reason. There is a large price to pay for not staying home. When both parents work, there are things that get overlooked. Although children do not
loudly complain-and most know of no other way of life-it seems that having a stay at home mother is ideal. The children are given a lot of attention from their
parents when one parent is in the home during the day. What does living in a two-income home feel like? The children hardly have home cooked meals as they must
scramble to make themselves something to eat or rely on fast food or microwave fare. If there is no one close by during the course of the day, there is
no one to handle the inevitable emergency. A child may become ill at home or at school and there is no parent there to pick them up. As the child
grows older, many reason that they no longer need help from adults, but that is far from the case. As children reach the early teen years and are more independent,
