to seek out a career in Social Work extends from my long standing desire to help people and my belief that individual action can play a large part in changing
the conflicts in the world. I have an incredible world view that links the abilities of a strong group of individuals to creating personal, social and economic change.
I believe that individual action is an important component of any process of social change, and I believe that major issues like poverty, drug abuse, lack of health care, and
issues of cultural, personal and social identification can be addressed through positive social models. My pursuit of academic improvement in the area of social work comes from the
fact that I received an MSW in my own country and have lectured in my own country for 12 years. I believe I have the knowledge and expertise to
succeed as a social worker in the United States, but I need the educational experience, information about United States social work policy and a degree in order to work within
this field. My choice to pursue my MSW at this time comes from my desire to live and work in the United States and my belief that I have
a lot to offer, especially for culturally/ethnically diverse populations. As a result, I am currently pursuing my MSW degree because of a need for my credential and the belief
that I can make a difference in this country. My most significant experience in social work has been in my own country, where I received an MSW and then
