People can speculate all they want about the importance of the research, but the truth will not be known unless scientists delve into stem cell research and find out. In other words, critics of stem cell research claim that it will not necessarily lead to a cure and other methods are just as potent. Still, even if other methods are good, there is no reason not to forge ahead with a method that can potentially save lives. In addressing the issue, it is important to look at the research that has already been done on stem cells. In fact, surprisingly much is known about it. For some serious conditions, bone marrow transplantation and stem cell transplantation are two possibilities in treating or curing certain conditions.
