it is the inherent nature of man to do battle with another when they feel threatened in some way, pushing reason aside and opting for violence. We find that many
countries ultimately go to war because they feel that their economic or social foundations are being threatened, or they feel that they can gain some power in the world through
war. Bearing in mind that there are numerous reasoning behind States going to war we present the following paper which examines some of the causes of war. The
Causes of War According to one organization, "The cause of war is the delusion that Government is an Authority controlling [the energy, the acts, and therefore the fate of] individuals.
All the Kings, Emperors, Czars, aristocrats, upper classes, have always believed that they control, and are responsible for, the majority whom they regard as their inferiors" (SSFI, 2003). However, "human
energy, like any energy, works only under its natural control. Like any energy, it can be prevented from working in any given instance, but nothing but its natural individual control
can control it" and when there is an intense pressure to stop this natural reality, "it explodes destructively, in war" (SSFI, 2003). When examining the reasoning for war from this
perspective we begin to see something of a philosophical examination of warfare. From a philosophical standpoint we must also look at the perspective which understands that humans are, in
