1867 and 1868 ("Who Killed," 2007). The victims were all black, and the murders were blamed on Aboriginals ("Who Killed," 2007). In Robinsons case, an Aboriginal man was found guilty,
but many do not believe he is the actual killer ("Who Killed," 2007). Also, the fact that other men similar in description were killed around the same time suggests that
a serial killer might have been working the area. However, in looking through the evidence, it is difficult to link the three murders. In an article that appears at the
site, printed in the British Colonist on March 24, 1868, a synopsis of the murder is revealed ("Who Killed," 2007). In this report, it is noted that Robinson lived alone;
after the body was found, it is also noted that some clothing, a double barrel shot gun and some books were missing ("Who Killed," 2007). It is explained that while
mysterious, some of the relatives of the man standing trial had acquired some of the stolen goods ("Who Killed," 2007). Once the trial ensued, it was learned that the
man on trial did ask a witness for assistance in the killing and robbery of Robinsons home ("Who Killed," 2007). This is from an account relayed in the Daily British
Colombian on June 4, 1869 ("Who Killed," 2007). While the witness left the premises, he only heard a gun shot, but on his return, Robinson was dead ("Who Killed,"
2007). Clearly, the witness testimony is compelling. It indicates that Tschunahuaset was indeed the murderer. While no eye witness testimony existed, the circumstantial evidence is compelling. One might want
