Aristotle in his book entitled The Politics. Aristotle (350 BCE) writes about the idea that man is good and is one of the best of animal life, but if he
is not overseen by laws, then he can be bad or evil. That is, man is inherently good, but no human being will always do the right thing for the
society. The greater good is best served if there are laws. This, on a smaller level, it exemplified by the discipline parents give to children today. Children, and adults, need
boundaries. The law to some extent helps to provide these. While designed for adults, the law is effected in such a way so that parents will oversee their children and
are responsible for their actions. Another point is that if an individual does not possess virtue, then he is considered to be savage (Aristotle, 350 BCE). Aristotle (350 BCE)
contends that such a human being is full of gluttony and lust, if he is not virtuous. Aristotles ideas are ones that are easily understood. Many people are familiar with
the idea that people will become addicted to sex or food or drugs. They are often interested in physical satisfaction and sometimes throw virtue by the wayside. Virtuous men and
women are well behaved. Aristotle makes a good point. For this theorist, virtue is learned. It is a matter of proper upbringing. Aristotle writes: "But justice is the bond
of men in states, for the administration of justice, which is the determination of what is just, is the principle of order in political society" (Aristotle, 350 BCE). Again, Aristotle
aligns himself with the idea that justice is something that helps to create order and that men need laws and rules. In a sense, this teaches people justice. When good
