todays political climate, where people are excused for both their disabilities and transgressions, and in fact given advantages because of them, there does seem to be something awry with suggesting
a hypothesis not unlike the survival of the fittest paradigm. The politically correct seem to either deny or divert attention away from the truth about humanity (Lawler 20). They
try to limit higher education to the truth regarding justice (20). Lawler suggests that Socrates was right in saying that a large portion of liberal education is learning how to
die (20). Socrates, concerning the argument at hand did say something to the effect that justice is anothers good. But is it? What is justice? The Sophist Thrasymachus said
that "justice is nothing more than the interest of the stronger" and Comnes takes that sentiment a step further comparing it to "the recurring theme of Oscars TV nature
programs and the not-so-hidden agenda of a bevy of human predators ranging from the fundamentalist right to real estate salespeople" (Comnes 353). He explains that nature is not just,
but rapacious (353). It is instead a theater of adaptive and predatory deception (353). On can clearly see that Thrasymachus, and others who recognize truth see that the survival of
the fittest paradigm does hold true. One can view that truth in daily life. Children who have accidents often have them in the presence of adults who possess less intellect.
Such adults may leave a hot iron burning or a pail of water near a toddler, not realizing that he or she could get hurt. They do not know how
to install child safety seats properly. These things, in addition to the predatory behavior discussed, all contribute to the fact that the interests of the stronger are served. That might
