there are things that can be generalized as making people happy, there are also many different things that apply to the individual in relationship to happiness. For example, having a
baby may be something that makes one person happy and also something that makes someone else miserable. With that in mind the following paper examines the condition of happiness. The
paper discusses whether happiness can be measured, what constitutes happiness and unhappiness, various things that make people happy, or unhappy, and also whether or not money can lead to happiness.
What is Happiness? If one were to ask everyone they knew what would make them happy, or what does make them happy, one would likely get many different
answers. One person may claim that they are happy that they lost weight and another person may be happy because they had a really good meal that was cooked specially
for them. One person may claim that they are happy to be married and another that they are happy to be divorced. But, there are also varying levels of happiness
too. Something can make someone happy for a moment or two, or for a day, and another thing can make them happy for years, if not a lifetime. Some people
are happy just to be alive and some people live in such pain that they are not happy being alive. In truth, almost anything one could envision could make a
