what he or she wants to reveal about their involvement with religion, they might consider observations like the following. Discussion I am a Roman Catholic and I love the church,
and the Mass because it makes me feel as if I can talk to God. I also like the teachings of my church, which says that God did not create
anything that is evil of itself, but "evil use may be made of it" (Beliefs, doctrines and practices, 2007). That means that we have a choice as to what we
are going to do with our lives, and I like the idea that I have that opportunity. The church also teaches that one doesnt have to be Catholic to be
saved, only that they "persevere in what they believe to be good, regardless of ignorance" (Beliefs, doctrines and practices, 2007). The only people who will be damned are those who
keep doing things they know are wrong (Beliefs, doctrines and practices, 2007). I think its interesting that one of the things that can be considered wrong is to deny that
the Catholic Church is the one true church if the person really believes that it is (Beliefs, doctrines and practices, 2007). If the person doesnt know that or doesnt believe
it, and tries to be good, he will be saved. That to me is a very tolerant doctrine, and I like it. I also like the fact that we are
very much aware of the saints. Other Christians talk about the saints and read the Gospels, but we actually have days dedicated to the saints, and they play a very
