Second Language (ESL) students are native Spanish speakers, the percentage of students whose native tongues are "Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, Arabic or French Creole" is increasing and, while 20 percent of
new immigrants are Mexican, 5 to 7 percent come from "India, China and the Philippines" (Black 36). The following examination draws on education literature in order to discuss teaching and
learning within the framework of the typical tasks in a teachers workday, i.e., lesson planning, preparing materials of instruction, classroom management, discipline, and lesson delivery, with a particular emphasis on

taught and discussed in class, that is, the project should demonstrate the real-world applications of a particular aspect of course material. In other words, there should be a clear connection
