interests have all supported the call for his candidacy. Wesley Clark was born in Chicago, Illinois, in December of 1944, the son or Orthodox Jews (PA For Clark,
2003). Clarks birthfather, Benjamin Kanne, was a lawyer and a participant in the democratic party, who died when his son was just five years old (PA For Clark, 2003).
After Benjamin Kannes death, his wife, then Vaneta Kanne, moved the family back to her home state of Arkansas, where she met and married a banker, Victor Clark.
Vaneta Kanne Clarks children were brought into Victor Clarks family and raised as a Baptist in Little Rock (PA For Clark, 2003). Wesley Clark attended public schools and participated
in programming at the Boys Club, under the guidance of a former World War II veteran, Jimmy Miller (PA For Clark, 2003). In the mid 1960s, Wesley Clark
attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, and was graduated from there in 1966 at the top of his class (PA For Clark, 2003). Wesley
Clark went on to become a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University between August of 1966 and 1968, where he studied philosophy, politics and economics (PA For Clark, 2003). Wesley
