Parsons, 2006, p. 214). Nutrition plays a vital role in maintaining wellness throughout the lifespan. Nurses are ideally situated to impact their clients knowledge and lifestyle behaviors through educational and
practice interventions. While wellness nutrition is vital in regards to healthy aging, this truism is particularly applicable at the beginning and the end of life. The following examination of literature
