of quality. Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the United States; in three months the company turns over the same level of
sales it takes the number two retailer to achieve within 12 months. If Wal-Mart were classified as a country, using a sales as GDP, it would be 20th largest in
the world. Wal-Mart is in a unique position due to its large size which gives the company a great deal of influence over suppliers and customers. Slide 3 There
