proclaim a "new world trading order" (Anonymous, 1993, p. PG) - would be implemented in what many have dubbed a "very different world, one full of risks and tension" (p.
PG). This aspect of the agreement was not lost on myriad global communities whose primary focus was to participate in fair trade.
Originally conceived in 1947, the GATT has undergone some extraordinary modifications as a means by which to stay abreast of the significant changes that have taken place throughout the past
several decades, directly impacting the manner in which Singaporean banks addressed with domestic and foreign concerns. In order to rise to such myriad challenges, the GATT has had to
