which would be nicer and more academic, but nothing really sums this attitude up better than to say, especially in the case of Whitney Houston, that the allegations are nothing
more than the jealousy of those who envy her fame, fortune and apparent charmed life. However, those who claim that Ms. Houston has gained her fortune through other means
than hard work would be very mistaken. And, in fact, if one is in possession of all the facts, one will see that the actual creative element involved in the
music business makes very little of the percentage of the money which comes from the sale of albums or concert appearances. Therefore, for someone in the entertainment industry to reach
superstardom as she has, means that she has worked her proverbial tail off to make it happen. One cannot simply sit back and wait for it to come knocking on
the door. Whitney Houston acquired her wealth the old fashioned way: she worked for it. With most statistics placing her sales at over one hundred million albums and fifty
million singles sold WORLDWIDE, it is easy to see how this might translate into unprecedented wealth for this one time church singer. In effect, Houston has done nothing more
shady than any other person who is in business for themselves. She has a product that is in demand, and she has diversified her product line. Her addition of acting
