The following is an explanation of a potential Web site to be developed for Dogs R Us, a full-service dog day care service and
"coffeehouse wonderland." The business also offers various tangible products (such as food and accessories) to assist dog owners in caring for their pets. Basically, this is a "get away" type
of destination for both pet and owner. In developing the Web site, there are many options open to the owner of Dogs
R Us, and in the following questions, well attempt to address these issues. Is this a business-to-business or business-to-consumer site? This
is definitely a business-to-consumer site. One could make an argument that it could be directed toward others in the industry (such as veterinarians or pet store owners), but given the
nature of the service (a "getaway" for pets and their owners) and the products (everything from food to toys), theres little doubt that the main target in this case is
the consumer. We can narrow it down from here -- this would be a consumer who owns at least one dog, and
who considers that the dog is more than just a pet, but a member of the family. Again, a purpose of the site is very important before the site itself
