of anonymity and a construct through which architectural developments can occur at a rate much faster than ever before. At the same time, this kind of development is not
without concerns or without problems that extend from the role of architecture in the modern society. Giddings and Horner (2003) reflected on the fact that since the 15th century,
architects have basically been challenged by some of the same problems, including the best ways of presenting their designs to clients. Since the early 1990s, the focus of the
evolution of this process has been on the use of computer modeling, computer animation and virtual reality systems that promote a connection between manipulated computer "reality" and design features.
Initially, the kind of system utilized was described as "pre-recorded architectural walkthrough," which is a technique that allows for the creation of virtual building scenes integrating geometric objects and allowing
for an understanding of the flow between these objects (Giddings and Horner, 2003). It is not surprising that this process led to CAD design and three dimensional modeling that
are the focus of creating design and presentation management in architecture firms in the modern era (Giddings and Horner, 2003). This research study considers the nature of virtual reality as
it impacts architectural development. In particular, this study relates the fact that virtual reality systems have changed the operation and function of architectural presentations and have influenced the design
process. Further, the current literature reflects the fact that architectural practices are changing and that virtual reality systems allow for the integration of tools that are more intuitive, interactive
and realistic relative to the proposed architectural developments (Giddings and Horner, 2003). The connection between postmodernism and the emerging focus
