years ago. It tells the story of the authors family on his fathers side and is an incredible story which gives the reader a sense of adventure in a world
gone by. In reading this book the reader finds themselves involved and emotionally tied to the events that occurred due to the fact that the author seems to have
some incredible tie to the events that unfold. This makes sense in regards to the fact that this is a tale of his ancestors, but at times it goes beyond
a simple tie to individuals as the descriptions and events carry the reader away. He is obviously attached to these people, many of whom he has likely never met, but
only heard tales of. But doubtless he has heard many a passionate tale that enabled him to illustrate the realities that these people faced. He makes the people seem as
real as they were and enables the reader to feel like they are a part of the history and passion that unfolds. The quality and the effectiveness of this book
may well be the result of the myriad of emotions and events that occur. As mentioned, in this book we are witness to incidents which involve lust, hate, love, and
family. These are very powerful and involved realities. We all experience them in one way or another, but we do not always see the beauty or the simplicity of these
realities when we are directly affected. In addition, every reader has their own opinion in regards to the issues portrayed in the book due to the fact that they are
