The primary objective will be to outline the process of creating a victim services unit and to report findings of preliminary research. An additional objective is to engage all
department personnel and to solicit the input of active officers. Audience The presentation audience will consist primarily of department personnel. Though the
presentation is for the purpose of involving all members of the department and soliciting their input, one or both of the presentation meetings also may be attended by other city
employees who may have a need to or interest in knowing more about the program. As example, a copy of the report has been forwarded to the Mayor.
She has not been specifically invited to the presentation, but we could find her or other city officials in the audience as well. Format
The format is that of a PowerPoint presentation. It might be wise to have a few sets of hard copy handouts available for those interested in having a
