vacation. Or they could see a trip to Las Vegas as the perfect vacation. A person could plan a driving trip across the country, or a trip that involves going
to an amusement park such as Disneyland. There are many places one could take a vacation and there are equally numerous reasons for taking a vacation in one location or
another. With that in mind the following paper compares and contrasts a vacation to the beach or the city. Vacation: Beach or City The first aspect of the
vacation to be examined is the cost. Assuming that a person is the same distance from the city or the beach one can see that a trip to the beach
may be less expensive than a trip to the city, depending on the beach. In truth, a person can find far more affordable lodging at the beach, especially a lesser
frequented beach, than they can in a big city, or a city worth visiting because of what it has to offer. And, someone going to the beach can do things
like bbq or bring picnic meals rather than always eating out in an restaurant. Of course there are also expensive beaches one could visit and they could have equally expensive
restaurants. But, if one is on a budget it is likely that they will be able to afford a trip to the beach for a few days rather than a
trip to the city. The next aspect to consider is the type of vacation one wants in relationship to relaxation or excitement. A trip to the beach is likely
far more relaxing than a trip to the city. The city, however, is far more exciting for many people because it offers up things like plays and productions, concerts, museums,
