Photoshop Album 2.0 in October 2003 (Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 ships from Adobe Systems PG), providing methods of more conveniently storing and organizing digital photos (Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 ships
PG). Learning the program to a level of proficiency requires some practice and time, but it is not a difficult task. As
it does with its other programs, Adobe uses a linear approach to locating, organizing, altering, using and sharing digital photos. Users can enter the program at any point -
after finding the photo of interest - but new users first introduction to it is a linear process that puts the programs capabilities into perspective. Adobe does not overtly
tell users that they do not have to begin "at the beginning;" rather, it is a realization that the user discovers for himself after having learned the basics of the
programs operation. Locating Photos Upon opening Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0, the user is greeted with an "Overview" screen that lists the five options
available to users. These options - Get Photos, Organize, Fix, Create and Share - reflect the five main uses of the program. These items are displayed as icons
on the introduction screen, but they are also duplicated on the same screen as choices across the top of the introduction screen. "Acquiring images is strikingly easy. The program
can automatically search your hard drive for images, import photos from a camera or CD, browse through folders, or acquire photos via a scanner" (A Great Program PG).
