is inadequate, in many cases it is our only alternative. Never-the-less, in some cases concepts are more adequately described by feelings. Unfortunately, feelings are not always reflected in
words even though the use of words are our only available approach since we can not simply mesh our mind with the minds of others to convey thoughts and feelings.
Even given this restriction of having to use words, however, some concepts are easy to define. The concept of "work"
for example is adequately described with a couple of phrases which describe applying effort towards accomplishing something. In the case of work, the effort applied can be either physical
or mental but it takes a defined purpose and a defined intent. Other words are not so easy to define. The definition of colors for example escapes most
of us. We are at a loss to describe even the concept of color to an unseeing person. We have a similar difficulty when it comes to defining
emotions such as sadness, contentment, or joy. The emotion we call "love" is particularly difficult to define. Love, like color,
is especially difficult to define when you are trying to do so for a person who has never experienced it. The dictionary definition of love contains words like affection,
attachment, tenderness, and concern. While it is true that all of those words comprise a certain aspect of love, love is much greater than any of those words used
singularly. Even when all of those words are joined together they do not fully define and describe the emotion of love. Love is caring and affection and commitment
