logistic program is under direction of the Defense Logistics Agency, which oversees four areas when it comes to getting goods moved throughout the Army. The first is warfighter support enhancements,
which is responsible for ensuring troops worldwide are in a state of readiness and sustainment (DLA Directors Four Focus Areas, 2009). Also in this category is the support of maintainers
and others who support Americas war fighting and peacekeeping capabilities (DLA Directors Four Focus Areas, 2009). The second, Stewardship Improvements, focuses on
ensuring that the product distributed to the units and forces are of the highest quality (DLA Directors Four Focus Areas, 2009). The third focus area, business process refinements, involves the
actual business of procurement and delivery, in other words, ensuring metrics and efficiencies (DLA Directors Four Focus Areas, 2009). Finally, the
Workforce Development focus involves ensuring that those involved in the logistics chain (from the supplier to the end user) are trained and well-equipped to provide the right tools and products
