are spiritual, but not religious, as if that admission is a cop out. In fact, there are many divides within the church and much goes to ideology. First there are
different religions such as Protestantism, Catholicism, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and so forth. Within each of these categories are a myriad of more specific entities, categories in which one might
find himself. For instance, the Protestant church has many sects such as Baptist, Methodist and Episcopalian. There are many more. There are also within the divisions black churches. Each of
the denominations holds certain truths as fact. Some sects are very strict and hold the bible to the letter of the law whereas others interpret the bible to have contextual
meaning as opposed to conveying literal facts. Here, one can see that there are different people who might join different denominations of religions. Although it is true that people sometimes
choose religion, the truth is that more often than not, it chooses us. People are usually born into a religion and stay there. Sometimes they feel as if they are
stuck there and other times they are proud of their religious heritage. Yet, when visiting any church, one can see that there are different types of people who attend. Some
go each and every Sunday, and some hardly are ever there. There are still others who volunteer for every function and put their own lives on hold to help out
at the church. Essentially, church becomes their lives. Those types are few and far between. There are many more people with moderate views who attend church regularly but do not
allow it to take over. One can classify people in a particular church. For example, in a Methodist church, it is possible to denote five types of members. One is
