to take over from stone. In this paper we are going to argue that the best candidate is Jim Foxall. Jim is suitable for many reasons when compared to
other candidates. Unlike David Grey who also has good credentials he has experience of more than one company. The experience Jim has is all relevant despite the fact he is
not an engineer. He has worked in a high profile job, but has also set up other businesses, which we will assume were successful, so has a good understanding of
business. His motivation to join has been demonstrated by existing actions as he had already decided he wanted to take control of a smaller company where he would be able
to make a difference and is also prepared to make a financial commitment to that business. Jim is a sales person and at the top level this may be
very beneficial, selling not only to the new customers and developing relationships, but also to sell ideas to the employees and other managers at a time where there is going
to be uncertainty due to the change in ownership and management occurring at the same time. The company does appear to have a great deal of potential, this was
noted by Goldblatt Capital who would otherwise have delayed selling for another couple of years as they believed this is when they would be able to maximise their investment, This
