concern in the general population is increasing and reporting on some measures that the public may support to help deal with the issues.
The article is s written in the wake of a survey results being released by the Business Council for Sustainable Development, of a survey conducted by ShapeNZ. The research
was limited, taking place only between 4th and the 7th of April 2007, and had a total of only 960 respondents. However, it is estimated that the results should be
accurate to within two percentage points. The key element of the report was the high increase in the level of individuals who stated that they believed climate change was
a problem with an increase from about a third of the population increasing to 77% of the population expressing a concern. The survey also asked for opinion regarding the way
that climate changed should be dealt with, including 90% who supported a insulation program for the insulating of housing in a project similar to the UK, and 77% of the
respondents stated that they agreed that there was a need to reduce waste, but this was an answer made regardless of whether there was climate warming. 84% of the respondents
supported a cash incentive for low emission and fuel efficient vehicles. The article itself was written at an opportune time, when the issues was likely to be in the
