"Tuesdays with Morrie" is based on the book by Mitch Albom. Mitch was a previous student of sociology professor Morrie Schwartz.
Morrie Schwartz is an unforgettable character. At his prime he was a charismatic teacher, a lover or all things and people, and a dancer. In the end,
as at the beginning, he was a philosopher. Although movie is based on the life of Schwartz (and, more importantly, on his life philosophies) it is really about what
it takes to be a successful human being. Morrie is dying yet he chooses to use the remaining days of his life to tutor Mitch on what he sees
as the essential values of love and forgiveness. Morrie, of course, is human himself. He is certainly not immune to the problems
that confront the elderly. He too, after all, has experienced the three characteristics of loss of body function, pain, and loneliness. When Mitch comes back into Morries life
