of the tribe do not worry so much about things as do other persons. They do not seem to always need the answers to questions, like where did I come
from (Singh, Saraswati and Singh, 2008). They just accept their existence and the existence of everything else in their environment. These authors put it this way: "the tribes themselves have
no metaphysical anxiety, i.e., the anxiety to know abut the reason for their existence or how and why the cosmology exists, and so on." (Singh, Saraswati and Singh, 2008). Further,
tribal religion is founded on oral traditions, on stories told from one generation to the next. These may be common threads running through all tribal religions. What we have generally
read and heard is that ancient tribes and even those that exist today believe in the oneness or wholeness or interdependence between nature and people. They have simple beliefs and
hold to those. They seem to be far more accepting of things as they are than other persons who are "more sophisticated" (quotations marks by this writer). Unfortunately, most of
thee tribes have been encroached by modernity and some are now seeking more theological complexity. Robin Wright says that "cultural evolution leads mankind to high and higher levels of complexity,
just as biological evolution does" (Lemieux, 20001). This would suggest that evolution is something none of us can avoid and it would further suggest that even tribal religions are subject
