so by utilizing the technology available. In December 2000, the U.S. Congress Web-Based Education Commission issued its report and recommendations for improving learning in this Web environment in which
we live. Project director, Kathleen Fulton, discussed the findings and recommendations of the Commission in a recent article found in Multimedia Schools (2001). The bi-partisan committee heard testimony from hundreds
of people including educators, education researchers, Internet pioneers, policy- To center learning around the student instead of the classroom. To focus on the strengths and needs of individual learners.
