Executive Summary Toys R Use, a company that started in 1948 and now has 1,501 stores internationally have seen a difficult few
years. The industry has been changing, becoming more competitive, with more competition from players such as Wal-Mart, but it is still growing. The company is responding and following a downturn
in profits has cut back on stores and is re-establishing its core brand. 2002 and 2003 saw reduction is most ratios but 2004 is showing a clear and healthy return
towards former returns and performing is above industry average in almost all measures. The company appears to be recovering well. 1. Introduction In any industry there will be market
leaders and followers, a range of profitability and losses all of which make up the industry situation. If we consider a large company such as Toys R Us the current
