of liberalism. Judith Shklars liberalism revolves around the fearful knowledge of the fragility of moral and political life, and of the horrific crimes that, in the name of philosophical principles,
states can inflict on individuals (Berkowitz PG). She saw the protection of the physical security of the citizens, as the primary goal of liberal politics and that the rise of
Nazism came out of the disarray of liberal Weimar and this was always present with her (PG). She held high a belief that the fundamental threat to liberal democracy came
from illiberal ideologies and antidemocratic forces (PG). But her stance is largely based on personal experience and not a true objective view of totalitarianism and liberal democracy. It is difficult
to analyze the subject objectively. From the time little American children, and children in other democracies, begin kindergarten they are indoctrinated into a world of democracy. They are fed information
to assure that every citizen would support democracy and never consider the benefits of any other kind of governance. That is simply how it is, and also, on
the other side, totalitarian governments feed their children similar propaganda. Each has its own point of view. To carefully analyze the benefits of totalitarianism, one has to take a step
