the war can be traced to many factors and certainly analysts continue to debate which was more important than the others. But, without question, Hitler is the most notable
figure from that era. He is probably the most important figure from that era too. This is not to say that Hitler was important in a positive
way. In fact, his contributions of hate and destruction are well documented. But he was powerful and controlling in all that he did, and his circle of influence
eventually encompassed the entire world. The question then, is to what extent was Hitler responsible for World War II? This question is subjective by definition, but there are many
facts which contribute to analysis. First, it is important to note that Hitlers Mien Kampf which is a book filled with his ideas and which were recorded during time he
spent in prison. This book details much of what actually came to pass. For example, the book describes Hitlers assertion that the Aryan race was genetically preferred -
superior. These were Germans with blond hair, blue eyes. How odd indeed that Hitler himself looked nothing like his ideal and much more closely resembled those that he
was putting to death. So then, in defining the Aryans he must also define those that were not acceptable. This is where his distaste for the Jews comes
in and all those who do not fit the Aryan ideal. Hitler is known to have often spoken of how much he despised Jews and credited them for the
majority of the worlds evil. Again, this is interesting in that this is exactly what came to pass. It was literally pre-recorded by Hitler. His book describes
