while putting a more unbiased and realistic perspective on the man. The following paper examines and reviews this particular book. Thomas Jefferson by Joyce Appleby Joyce Appleby "graduating
from Stanford University in 1950" and then "worked for Mademoiselle magazine in New York City" (Appleby, 2006). She quickly moved on, after raising children, to a career in writing, based
on her research, concerning varied historical and political topics. She wrote Ideology and Economic Thought in Seventeenth-Century England and Liberalism and Republicanism in the Historical Imagination, offering up varied information
