it is useful to review. Peru was the country discussed. It was determined that in Peru, the mode is to follow the Social Origins Theory and that the society is
more of a two-sector society than a three-sector society. The Social Origins Theory focuses on a broad range of societal, political and economic factors in explaining the non-profit phenomenon
in a comparative perspective. There are four models of non-profit regimes, i.e., four routes for non-profit development, within the Social Origins Theory: 1. Liberal Regime: The state takes on
the responsibility of sheltering or protecting the working class from social risks. 2. Social democratic regime: The state assumes the task of sheltering the working class against social risk to
such a great extent, there is no room for service from non-profit organizations. An overwhelming proportion of social welfare services are funded by the government with the non-profit sector contributing
very little. 3. Corporatist Regime: The state and non-profit organizations work together for different causes; as ones budget increases, so does the others for social welfare spending. 4. Statist Regime:
The state controls social welfare related activities; spending by both governmental agencies and non-profit organizations is very constrained. These four types of development are categorized by two core dimensions:
1. The extent of government social welfare and spending. 2. The scale of the non-profit sector. The amount contributed to social welfare by non-profits in Peru is approximately
