qualities are most central to effective leadership, and how these qualities might be most effectively development. Through exploring many such perspectives, leaders can attain a synergistic understanding of the discipline,
and can effectively employ different styles of leadership as the context demands. One particularly interesting take on leadership can be found in Keohanes 2010, "Thinking About Leadership". This paragraph helps
the student introduce the book and author in question, as well as her take on leadership within the text. The Keohane text is something of a rebuke to many modern
manuals on leadership. While the recent trend has been for texts on leadership to transcend offering a singular definition of leadership and attempt to present a more nuanced approach to
