A world of good can include a great amount of evil and these elements co-exist. Nature co-exists with man-made objects. Rooms with blue go well with elements of red. In life, as in literature, there are opposites, but some authors express this better than others. In focusing on Shakespeares Othello, there are opposites of good and evil and both are embraced by this prolific author. The idea of opposites also exists due to the racial theme. That is the one which is most obvious. Many white people had jumped to the conclusion that OJ was guilty largely because the "big, black, dangerous man" stereotype was lodged in their heads. Although in Othello, the lead character is not villainized, the audience may take it in different ways. Who is the hero or heroine and who is the victim in Othello?
