In assessing views of Dan Cutlers corporation and his organizational perspective from the view of an ethics consultant, there are some central facts that need to be related.
First, like many businessmen, Dan Cutler excuses many of his behaviors, including his decision-making processes, in order to promote business success. This fact is demonstrated both by his
choices in the organizational setting and his determined sense of self that dictates the behaviors of others around him. Second, Dan also lacks a sense of responsibility, either to
his employees or clients, when responsibility is not profitable. Finally, Dan appears to support the notion that his actions are not singular and that they are supported by a
definitive corporate culture. As a result, his "means-to-an-end" approach to the management of the organization has lasting impacts on those involved in the retreat.
Dans personal and business personas are clearly linked in terms of his ethical belief system, and these impact the ethics of business operations. Though one
