the use of technology to imbed images and ideals in the mind of the viewer. In essence, a great deal of contemporary art is incredibly active and incredibly powerful in
ways that have not been seen before in the art world. One such contemporary piece of art is "The Weather Project" by Olafur Eliasson. This particular piece of art
is one that touches on a subject that all people are actively concerned with, the weather. The following paper examines and analyzes, or reacts, to Olafur Eliassons "The Weather Project"
which is housed in the Tate Museum in London, England. The Weather Project As one author notes, "The subject of the weather has long shaped the content of everyday
conversation. The eighteenth-century writer Samuel Johnson famously remarked It is commonly observed, that when two Englishmen meet, their first talk is of the weather; they are in haste to tell
each other, what each must already know, that it is hot or cold, bright or cloudy, windy or calm" (Tate Collection [1]). The weather is something that affects us all
and somehow deeply touches us in ways that can not always understand. It is something that is quite primitive, for our ancestors of long ago relied on a knowledge of
the weather for survival. And, even though we do not need to have such a powerful knowledge or connection with weather, it is a topic that always comes up
