have gone by more and more people have begun to see what some believed was true from the beginning; that the war in Iraq was a mistake. There are many
reasons why the War in Iraq is wrong, and many conditions wherein it is clear that the reasons for starting the war were wrong, if not lies. With this in
mind the following paper offers an argument as to why the War in Iraq is wrong. The War in Iraq For most intents and purposes the War in
Iraq was started because of the bombing of 9/11. Many believe that this bombing simply served as a spark to ignite the publics fear and outrage and thus support the
plan to go to war with Iraq when it was not Iraq that was responsible for the bombing. Terrorists were to blame and at first it seemed that Osama Bid
Laden was the culprit behind it all and Iraq was a natural link. However, as the war progressed it became very obvious that the focus of the war was not
to find Osama but to gain something else. In addition, it was noted that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and that this was a very good
reason to go to war with the country. Then it was clearly Saddam who was the culprit, although interestingly enough, "Bin Laden and Hussein are natural enemies" (Healy, 2003). However,
the existence of weapons of mass destruction was discovered to be untrue and yet the war continued. Reason after reason was given and yet there seems to be no final
outcome, no threat found and thus no end. One author notes, "If the Bush Administration has its way, Iraq will be the first test of its new doctrine of pre-emption,
