Survey Research Method The research method used for this study is a non-experimental survey approach, utilizing the KADD (Knowledge About ADHD) measure created by Hepperlen et al. (2002). This knowledge and attitude assessment is based on an error-choice method, which provides an indirect method for evaluating teacher attitudes and expectations along with existing knowledge (Graczyk et al., 2005). This tool was created to address some of the issues related to attitudinal distortion that occur when a direct question approach is utilized (Hepperlen et al., 2002; Nur & Kavakci, 2010). Hypotheses * H1: The general education teachers to be studied will show a high level of knowledge of ADHD as compared to national averages produced by the test developers. Alternative Hypothesis: The general education teachers to be studied will show a low level of knowledge of ADHD as compared to national averages produced by the test developers. Null hypothesis: There will be no significant difference between the level of knowledge of ADHD for the subjects studied and the national averages produced by the test developers. * H2: There is a direct relationship between teachers knowledge of ADHD and their level of preparation for teaching ADHD students.
