getting the word out can be difficult. Part of the problem is that such organizations often request donations and offer little to the general public. While that is the case,
each organization in its own way has a product or service to offer that can be a benefit to the public at large. Some organizations provide community outreach where others
provide help to specific groups such as the poor or infirm. Although these organizations generally run on funding from donations, or on taxes in the case of governmental units, they
too must have marketing programs in order to reach the public. Through the Internet, many of these organizations have found a place to promote their causes.
II. Example Organizations In using one government organization, one nonprofit organization and one service based organization, the NJ Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
(PETA) and the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization (OCISO) have been chosen as examples. The New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles provides a great deal of services inclusive of renewing
and processing driver licenses, registering vehicles, testing drivers, in addition to a host of commercial programs. Whether one is trying to obtain an ordinary drivers license, a commercial driver permit
or a motorcycle endorsement, the NJDMV provides assistance in those areas. However, in recent times, it has been reported that the DMV has been crowded and there have been more
than the average consumption of time due to the fact that there have been more stringent ID requirements. This is mostly due to the terrorist attacks on 9/11 including the
