Hospital, 2004). The mission of Miami Valley Hospital is to "be the preeminent provider of comprehensive and cost-effective hospital and outpatient services and have as its goal the delivery
of high quality patient care and service in the Greater Miami Valley Region" (Miami Valley Hospital, 2004). In order to accomplish this mission and to meet the needs
of a large patient population, Miami Valley Hospital has focused on the development of its main campus and a variety of satellite locations that exist throughout the Datyon area (Miami
Valley Hospital, 2004). In recent years, Miami Valley Hospital has begun to integrate technology-based educational opportunities and technology-based services, with the end goal of improving health maintenance and
address preventative care needs. As a result, Miami Valley Hospital can benefit from a change initiative that is based on the development of healthcare portals, designed to introduce access
