is concerned while at the same time earning a new designation because of a relative few who believe ethics to be an optional component of American business practices. II.
THE SLIPPERY SLOPE OF AMERICAN CORPORATE ETHICS People have an entirely different set of ethics than the rest of the animal world; as
the more evolved species, human beings are expected to uphold the tenet of responsibility with regard to their actions so as to bring as little harm to others as possible.
The quest to maintain responsibility is a lifelong venture and is constantly challenged by the temptation to stray off track; when this occurs, the domino effect that follows can
be completely ruinous to those who are within the path of consequences, otherwise known as the circle of life that stretches far beyond the immediate vision of one person.
